Topeak Ergon Racing, one of the few pro teams entering the seven-day stage race across the Alps, has announced team changes for the BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma.
Back in 2012, Alban Lakata triumphed in the BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma. Five years after his so far sole win, the newly minted MTB marathon world champion from Austria is aiming for a similar coup although he knows that it will be a tough competition at the event's 20th anniversary which kicks off on July 16 in Mayrhofen, Austria.
Last year, Daniel Geismayr and Hermann Pernsteiner were dominating the BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma at their pleasure winning five out of seven stages. And both Austrians are also confident to successfully keep hold to their title at the 20th race anniversary which starts in Mayrhofen, Austria on July 16, 2017.
As in the previous years, the team of Sportograf will be covering the 20th BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma, too in order to take photos of every participant.
All shots will be offered for sail after the event. You will find each photo bundle here.
Stretching, massage, nutrition – those are the main cornerstones of the most amateurs to get fit for the next day after having worked out or competed in a race. Especially when participating in the BIKE Transalp and facing some more tough stages still to come. However, the most don't know of the pleasant effects of alkaline baths which are in fact true multi-talents.
